Project Information

The use of digital technologies and networks can significantly enhance the public value of cultural heritage collections. More specifically, all digital policy actions related to cultural assets should support their existence and function as “living” monuments, promoting a shift from a “material-centered” heritage management model to one based on “living cultural heritage.”

The project’s objective is the creation of an online platform for showcasing and promoting the cultural heritage of the area. This platform will serve as a modern tool for highlighting the municipality’s cultural wealth and landmarks.

Through the platform, visitors will be able to:

▪ Explore the history and monuments of the area, accompanied by photographs, texts, videos, audio recordings, maps, 3D reconstructions, and more.
▪ Access the area’s cultural wealth as well as its modern-day image through advanced multimedia applications.
▪ Stay informed about events taking place in the municipality.
▪ Choose points of interest to visit through suggested tourist routes.
▪ Access virtual museums.
▪ Use digital tour guides with personalized and augmented information via mobile phone.
▪ Participate in educational games.
▪ Experience guided tours at cultural sites through holographic display technologies.
